Lentor Stream sits quietly in the dense vegetation of the Tagore Forest. Over the years, it has remained untouched, unseen, and unheard of by the vast majority of Singaporeans. Unfortunately, rapid urbanization of the city-state has recently called upon the clearance of this natural green space to be used for future developments of condominiums. Aside from losing its scenic value and its rich biodiversity that includes critically endangered and vulnerable species, Singapore has yet again to lose another landmass of wild greenery.
